Material

The STRAND material is constructed out of Poly (Lactide-Co-Glycolide) bio-absorbable material. This is the same material as the synthetic spacers. PG-190 has an implantable material medical history of over 20 years.

Core Oncology uses our proprietary C-20, 20-seed shielded, disposable cartridge system to improve operational efficiencies and safety to the user.

Cartridge and FlatPack materials are NON-LEADED and recyclable. Packaged in a double sterile barrier within a shield shipping container.

100% Seed Assay Certificate

Each pharmacy processed order will include a third party NIST traceable seed assay using a Capintec CRC-127R Well-Type Ionization Chamber and electrometer system calibrated by the University of Wisconsin, Accredited Dosimetry Calibration Laboratory (ADCL). This calibration is accredited by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and the American Association of Laboratory Accreditation.

Pharmacy Services
by AnazaoHealth

Core Oncology has selected AnazaoHealth pharmacy as our prescription-loading partner. AnazaoHealth is a full-service licensed nuclear pharmacy that has been working with brachytherapy products, specifically seed handling and loading since 1995.

Their highly trained, board certified pharmacists and technicians will provide physics services, perform 100% seed assay with certificate, load and strand seeds according to patient's prescription order (treatment plan), prepare a visual radiograph of loaded needles and place into a DOT certified Type A 7A packaging system and then gamma sterilize at a Cobalt-60 irradiation facility. AnazaoHealth is licensed to provide services to all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia.
