Core Oncology Announces Agreement with North American Scientific for Distribution of Pd-103 Brachytherapy Seeds

Santa Barbara CA – October 5, 2007 – Core Oncology today announced that it has entered into a worldwide distribution agreement for the Prospera® Palladium-103 brachytherapy seeds manufactured by North American Scientific, a leading manufacturer of minimally invasive products for the treatment of prostate cancer. Prospera palladium-103 seeds have been commercially available since 1999; with over one million sources implanted clinically. Prospera is supported by the peer reviewed, published dosimetry studies recommended by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).
